I really don’t understand India.
Tons of them come here and are typically very high performing, especially in medical and tech with many also owning and operating their own businesses yet India appears to largely be a total shite show.
Do the best and brightest just hightail it out of there?

So, I retired from work at a prison. Had an inmate awhile back pass out in the chow hall. Same story except replace deodorant with shampoo bottle, been in there for at least ten days. One of my coworkers was on duty in surgery, when they extracted it.
