Tinder users sometimes despair of cheesy chat up lines or zero effort 'hey, how r u?' approaches, but a woman has been left pleasantly surprised after a user sent her a cover letter detailing why he should be her potential suitor.

Jessica-May Giles, 22, from Lincolnshire had been using the app for a month without finding a single date, but that changed when a man called Mitchell decide to take her bio stating that she 'just wants to find a future husband' seriously.

After asking how he could 'apply', she jokingly told him to email her his 'best covering letter', and was shocked when a 300-word missive dropped in her inbox the next day.

In the detailed letter, Mitchell listed his skills as 'top tea maker', a 'good hair player' and 'good cuddler', alongside stating his name as 'Mitchell Husband Material' and address of '69 Future Love Den'.

She was impressed by a poorly written letter in which he essentially fed her words back to her while adding very little.
