So it's safe to say he's either still in the area or fled some direction other than W. That bridge is a common drug interdiction/intelligence point- and everybody knows it.
And he's, if you couldn't tell, a spree killer and he's at home. I doubt he leaves the area, whether cooling down, rearming, or hiding.
ETA: if they're smart, LEO has a couple fake accounts cheering him on and put it on the radio/tv with people bitching about it. If he's still got his phone, he won't be able to resist responding to cheerleaders. If he dumped it he'll try to pick something else up to respond.
