Agree. It's an awesome place to visit. Maybe the best in the lower 48.

Given the cost of living, it wouldn't make my top 10 if I were single. Because of the tech-heavy economy, single dudes outnumber chicks like 10 to 1 in silicon valley/bay area.

It's probably worth it if you play for the other team though.

That box looks like it was built for an Asian.

He's a starving artist without a college degree. What kind of job would you expect him to have out there with no real job skills? He doesn't have any kids and doesn't rely on government assistance. Doesn't even whine about being broke all the time. He's just doing his thing out there and seems pretty happy for the most part. My little starving artist hippie brother.

Maybe he can meet a chick from a well-to-do family, yet has been estranged from for a number of years, get married, have a really bad car accident with her causing her to become amnesiac and make her fall in love with him again. All while sticking it to her father that plowed her best friend.

I mean I'm glad he's happy and all...just pointing out the reason as to why he's broke.

Yes. My Dad got stationed there, right before I went of to college. That row was all NCOs. The General's house was beyond amazing, grounds and view of the bridge.

I cannot imagine what the value of these homes would be in an open market now in the Bay Area.

Edit: I looked it up, they have some available for rent. Watch out for Baker Beach though, nude gay beach.

You know the hardest part about living in a house full of artists?..... Telling your parents you're gay.
