And you completely ignored the second part of my question.

Absolutely.

So tasing was an option?

I have no problem with the officers in this. Don't run. Don't fight back. Don't take his fricking taser. Don't commit a fricking crime and none of this shite would have happened.

What if they tased him and it had no affect on him?

Fall back on training which doesn't include shooting a fleeing suspect.

So this guy resisted arrest, wrestled with the cops, threw punches, stole a taser, and then took off.

And we're being told to feel that this was somehow a blatant act of injustice?

Don't resist arrest. Don't assault cops. Don't take off with a taser.

Not shoot him.
Be better than that.

How would you see these scenarios playing out where a man runs away with a mostly non lethal weapon, after fist fighting police, to I can only assume get away and hide and do ANYTHING to not get caught.

What happens after the police let him go?

The guy was tased more than once in the encounter.
I guess they should have just let him run loose until he passed out again.
Maybe they could have called a social worker.

I will tell you what happens. The police get blamed when some innocent person gets injured or killed.
It was the officer's fault for letting him go.

You left out the part about punching officers, resisting arrest, and stealing one of their tasers. (I know you probably just simply forgot to add that in , but I goccha back)

Are you saying you would not shoot someone pointing a weapon at you?

Yeah, he loves to ignore that.
And, just so he can't use it against you, the guy took the officer's taser, not his firearm.

Oh, nvm.

You have zero intentions of having a serious discussion.
