Now is as good a time as any for a TD acronym refresher. There's probably been some others adopted in the 10 1/2 years since this was posted, but this will get teach you most of what you need to know....or in your case, what you've forgotten since 2008.

Might be his rice field. He sought to solve the problem and not have it return. However, it appeared like he had the chance to stomp the snake's head and kill it and he didn't. Might realize the snake eats a lot of rats.
