I agree with you. I was just explaining why somebody questioned your statement about him being a college aged kid. He's not. But I get what you are saying. Being really offensive for halloween is sort of a thing that college kids do. But like you said, an offensive costume at an adult event shouldn't be met with so much animosity, especially from young people.
