She isn’t naive, she’s innocent - trying to get her daughter out and about and find a friend - and some jerk is trying to take advantage of that
If I would’ve seen the phone numbers I’d text OP’s wife and their daughter could come play with my kids - I have several good friends with special needs children and it’s tough

So, she didn’t wait to discuss it with her husband? Hey, I met so and so at the pool and he has a brother that is autistic…..says we need need to set up a play date with his daughter. Did I miss something?
