There are a few shithole looking poker places in run down strip centers in that area, I suspect it all took place within the same large strip center parking lot.
That area is rough. But also 5mins from where $1mm won’t even get you in the conversation for purchasing a home.

Wait, he felt he was in danger and was able to "return fire"? If someone's trying to shoot you there's no feeling like you're in danger, the guy is actively trying to murder you.
