They've had a couple of these in CA too the last few days. If I remember right it's the Los Angeles area. Residents in CA aren't willing to call it suicide and want investigation as if it's homicide.
It would be hard to imagine more than one person, the victim, being involved in something like this, this close together in time. I can easily imagine 3 guys in 2 big cities wanting to hang themselves though.

You may recall the suicide by hanging 3-4 yrs ago around Rodney, MS. Was a hate crime, the klan, did it, etc. until it was ruled suicide. Not much of a follow up story as I recall.
Was on my neighbor's property. I had to let the FBI into one of our gates to investigate.
Port Gibson, not Rodney.

Black people were lynched and hanged for many many years.
Yes, by a posse of multiple men. Usually 10 or 15 or more.

Dude how naive are you? Jesus Christ.
Not at all. Please explain how one man would hang another man? How would he get him up in the air?

Rope is cheap, wire works quicker.

Tie rope around the tree limb
Place table or chair under the rope
Have victim stand on table or chair
Place noose around neck and tighten
Kick table or chair from underneath the victim

Crowds were thinning out earlier.
I anticipate things will stay calm until a name and autopsy is released showing cause of death.
I’m still concerned though. I feel like I’m living in the Truman Show. This year doesn’t feel real. It’s too insane.

Houston police said they believe a Latino man found hanged early Monday was a likely suicide. After the man's body was discovered in the Shady Acres community, a Huffington Post freelance reporter mischaracterized the victim on Twitter as a black male and questioned official statements on the likely cause of death. The tweet was widely liked and shared. Responding to press inquiries, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo tweeted Monday evening that the victim was a "Hispanic/Caucasian male, and described by his family as suicidal." Acevedo wrote that there were no signs of foul play and that evidence pointed to suicide.

What is the victim doing while you're tying this rope? Just sitting there watching you?

What? You just ask him politely? How do you get a man up on a table? It's not that easy. Especially if he doesn't want to go. Even if he's unconscious, how do you get a 200 pound man up on a table? How do you get him upright? It takes multiple people.

Place noose around neck and tighten
He's just letting you do this?
See, you can't have it both ways. If the guy is awake, he is resisting. Impossible to do unless he is basically unconscious.
But then if he is unconscious, that presents a whole new set of problems. You can't get him up on a table. How do you stand him up?
It would literally take a mob. Like 6 or 8 people all working together to do it. And even then you would need a pickup or a tractor.
You're obviously a city guy. Someone from the country would understand. You just don't know what you're talking about.

This right here is a real problem, and a legitimate reason that reporter should no longer be employed. But, it is the Huff Post, so he will keep writing for them.

You’re a fricking idiot.
You can make someone that has their hands tied and blind folded do anything when you have a gun pointed to their head.

You, by yourself, may hang me, but you're going to have to chase me down, beat my arse, and maybe even shoot me to do it. I damn sure won't be a willing participant in my own damn hanging. I'm dead either way. I may as well make your arse work for it.
And I can promise you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, there will be "evidence of a struggle".

It sure doesn’t take 8 men and a tractor to hang someone.

That’s a comforting update. RIP to the man and I hope he is at peace.
Thankfully BLM will leave my neighborhood and we can go back to living peacefully.

You're right. But just one or two men are gonna leave a hell of alot of signs of a struggle. I won't be hanging scratch free looking like I just got dressed to go out, and you're gonna be feeling it for a while yourself.

That’s fair but that’s not what we are discussing.
Retard from Mississippi seems to think it takes 6-8 men and a truck and tractor to hang one man.

Actually no you can't. Ever tried to get up on a table if you are blindfolded and have your hands tied? You can't do it.
Also, find me one single instance in the history of the world of one man hanging one other man without assistance. Unless you build a scaffold with a staircase it literally can't be done without a tractor.

Sure you can. Like walking up stairs. Why wouldn’t someone be able to step up on a picnic table? Step up on the bench first then the table. It’s not that difficult

Okay I’ll get back to you on that.
