That’s some bullshite charges. Darwin will take care of them in good time. No reason to waste tax payers dollars on something so petty.

Must had been a slow day for LEO to arrest these two for that. You would think he would just cut him loose with a warning, unless the dude was a total dick to LEO.

Charges seem over the top.

They probably won’t even serve jail time. No one was hurt. No damage caused.

When what do you expect him to do, go over the I10 bridge. That would be suicide.

Well what they did was stupid and dangerous. The DA will probably use this to prove a point to them, but I doubt this goes further than a fine.

Why weren’t BLM protestors charged with this when they blocked the streets and interstate?

Probably because the DA didn't want to become a national villain courtesy of the media.

Stupid stunt.

If that law is on the books why aren’t they arresting the BLM protestors who block roads and pull their BS under that law?

The protesters block a hell of a lot more commerce than the skateboarder.

there is a video of a guy skateboarding on 210 from the 70s and this was an attempt to recreate that video. that's why it was on 210 and not i10

Guess the same applies to all those people that ride wheelies on their ATVs while on the Interstated and in traffic.

Obviously. However, opinion-makers aren't going to roast anyone for slapping the wrist of a skate punk. They most definitely would if they tried to charge X amount of BLM protesters. Simple as that.

I wasn’t talking about that. I was talking about this particular case.

But if it were a protest completely blocking traffic?

Maybe he was just trying to start a conversation.
