Exactly. One of my kids had been around a family friend who was "dark" black. He never noticed until about 3/4 years old that her skin was black. He then went on to figure out that I was brown and my wife was tan. It was a strange moment for him. True that they don't notice this stuff. I know some will shot this down but it's what truthfully happened.
