I could be wrong, and I would never profess to know everything, but I would suspect that outside of Nola Rouses is going to end up with more business, At a minimum, with no decline in customers/sales. Rouses is the bomb and comparatively its a better place to get groceries in many people's opinions.

It always cracks me up when softies PLASTER the internet with photos of these businesses they are trying to get boycotts going for. I mean marketing 101 is "get your name out there in their faces".

I literally spent 189.00 at Rouses after I saw the first wave of boycotts. The photo reminded me of how much I've been needing to go replenish my steak supply

The people boycotting rouses likely don’t even shop there and if they do, they don’t spend much money.

There are plenty of times I’ve seen our close Rouses more or less empty. Sounds like scum progs trying to self-validate.

The Drusilla Rouses (which has always sucked anyway since they took it over from LeBlanc's) may take a hit. Then again, it might improve the shopping experience a little if it's boycotted.
The Prarieville Rouses will keep on rocking and rolling, as will the Juban one, and the Bluebonnet one.

Sitting my fat happy arse by the fire right now sipping the knob creek after a fine dry aged ribeye, ceasar salad, and sauteed mushrooms, and king cake...all purchased from da rouses this morning on way to camp. Nobody at my store got the memo to boycott.

"That kind of money for a house in Thibodaux": you ought to see some of the houses/ mansions in the Golden Meadow area. One has a salt water aquarium floor in the main room, a full sized indoor basketball court out back. There is some serious oil field & commercial fishing money "down da bayou". Thibodaux itself has at least 7-8 millionaires +, not bad for Small Town USA.

Amen

Hate it. Recently moved so it's not nearby anymore but I used to live in Westminster so we'd go a lot but after a while stopped. Terrible.

You think Tommy is worried about the money?

And he's not even in the grocery side anymore.

People who have never been to a good grocery store.

Get out of Nola and check out, say, a good wegmans as a different regional offering.

For a food city the quality of grocery store is pretty rough here.
