I looked at a map and there are 4 or 5 in Orleans Parish. One is near UNO and the others are in the scarier parts. It's kind of funny if some transplant clown in some hipstery gun range of a neighborhood can't get groceries anymore without feeling dirty.

For a food city the quality of grocery store is pretty rough here.

Oh look, an "I have seen more of the world than you "snob

That almost never happens here.

I saw an article earlier that says he was in the Capitol. I don’t know if it’s true or not.

I don't live in New Orleans and I think Rouse's is a pretty good supermarket. Where I live, I have Publix and Kroger and they just don't have a lot of the foods I like. Obviously I can't expect fresh seafood or a muffaletta, but I really don't see why I have such a hard time finding hogshead cheese or (FFS, Publix!) shrimp-flavored cup ramen. It's like these places are designed for my Midwestern grandparents.

Varies greatly by location. Some of their stores are crap. Some are pretty nice.

Redneck. Scarier parts being South Market District on Baronne; French Quarter by Jackson Square; Uptown on Tchoup; Mid-City on Carrollton...give me a break.

I was born at Southern Baptist Hospital on Napoleon Avenue, and I live 12 minutes from Downtown Atlanta. I'm about as "redneck" as Woody Allen. My opinions about Orleans Parish neighborhoods are 100% rational.

The Drusilla Rouses (which has always sucked anyway since they took it over from LeBlanc's) may take a hit. Then again, it might improve the shopping experience a little if it's boycotted.

If that happens I hope they close the store and the residents in that area can suck a fat hairy Dick. They’ve had a hardon for Rouses ever since they bought LeBlancs. As if Rouses acquired them thru a hostile takeover.
But LeBlancs sold to Rouses on their own accord. Instead of blaming LeBlancs for selling out, they blame Rouses. Mental midgets, every last one of them (the critics).

It’s kinda funny to me. Rouses in white areas will be fine. In urban areas the boycott might work but who does that really hurt?

In two weeks it will all blow over like anyone else who doesn’t bow to the woke mob.

The Rouse's in Saraland, Alabama was exceptionally busy today. I've resolved to shop exclusively at Rouse's, even though it's a 50 mile round trip for me.
