You’d be surprised how many people can become trapped as the fires spread so quickly with these winds. I’ve heard personal testimonies of people who jumped into the pool at the last second to survive. Hundreds if not thousands of people jumped into the ocean to escape the fire in Hawaii...

It’s the winding canyon roads that are the problem. They will wind down into gridlocked city.

I think they are going to shut down the 405 tomorrow between Brentwood and Sherman Oaks

Also pch between Santa Monica and Ventura

I think that large unlit area just under the fire is the Riviera Country Club and golf course.

Wind gusts in the palisade foothills are up to 90 mph right now and that is projected to continue until early morning

I’m not sure. I know I carry a separate earthquake policy, but not a separate wildfire policy. Fingers crossed I don’t have to find out.
