lets leave the politics out of the thread man - not directed solely at you, just in general.

Thanks, Aspy. We did remember to grab dad’s ashes. And the only pic I have of me and my bio dad.

what is fricked up - is i saw where he tweeted that residents in his area had their insurance canceled 4 months ago.

can he afford to recover? sure - but a lot of others had their insurance canceled that may not have had a chance to re-up somewhere else.

regardless, noone should lose all of their belongings - regardless of where they are.

Many insurance companies have non renewed policies in brush areas the past several years.

There's still insurance available, it's just more expensive and might require a bit more effort to find.

Its ridiculous that the corpse we know as Joe Biden thinks anyone gives a frick about him. He didn’t need to show up in NOLA and he doesn’t need to show up in Cali. He’s nothing but a distraction and needs to just stay home for the next couple weeks.

January 20th can’t come soon enough. I hope Trumps people are writing down everything Newsom and his clown DEI hires did and didn’t do that could’ve helped before and after the fire.

I’m glad you thought to grab those. Hopefully your house will be spared.

How are the pups and the princess handling things?

I hope the Woods video makes some of the absolute fricking idiots posting stupid shite about wanting us to burn down as a state to realize that this transcends political affiliation.

It absolutely unbelievable to see the reporters going through neighborhoods with houses burned completely to the ground with nothing left.

Here's a pretty good resource that has multiple local news stations in one.

I can not speak for anyone else but I most certainly have a great deal of anger towards inept leaders simply out of compassion for my fellow man

I am human
I am still mad about Hawaii
I am still mad about those sleeping in tents in NC
It is because I care about people suffering that I get mad

Regardless I will continue to pray for everyones well being

ETA
I am mad about way more stuff than what I posted above but I did not want to get too carried away

I'm sure there are crazy people out there are saying it's God's wrath upon the progressives of California...for being liberal, not going to church, being woke, not voting for Trump, etc.

I suggest Mr. Woods looks into moving to Montana.

Absolutely. You see the same pain and agony on people's faces whenever there is a disaster like this. It doesn't matter if it's in a country you'd have a hard time identifying on a map or the town a few miles away from where you live. I wouldn't say that I'm numb to the fires we've experience out here but it is shocking for me when I head up into the mountains to go to the lakes and all you see is the fallout from our big wildfire from 2020:

It stretches on for nearly as far as you can see. It's startling when you know what it should look like. It turned into a wasteland around 5,000ft. The forest is unlikely to return to that first picture in my lifetime.

Watching one of the news stations, and I didn't realize one of the fires was on the doorstep of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

The devastation throughout Altadena is unbelievable. Every 30 minute the CBS affiliate will check in with their on-scene reporter and more houses are going up live each time.

Delivering some Costco freight near Stockton tomorrow, smoke has blanketed this area. Very few people mingling around here today.
