For those that know what’s the deal with the convective discussions practically guaranteeing a watch issuance within a short period to follow (vs just issuing). Coming from different offices?

My wife is watching some dude named Max Velocity on YouTube and he said it is confirmed. Saw it on some traffic cam on I65 during lightning.

The convective discussions stating that a watch will be issued come from the Storm Prediction Center. They are the ones in charge of issuing the watches.

Starting to get a bit nervous up here on the northeast side of town. Dew point has moved above 60 for Lawrenceville and getting closer in Gainesville.
