From the radar it looks as though there is a big split in the rain... Big storms hitting Laffy and east of NOLA.. So that will give those rom BR toward NOLA A break... However those poor people in north LA are gonna get dumped on again. They don't need another drop. very sad up there... People in lower LP should see some relief from any heavy storms....

Will i12 eastbound be open this evening or is their potential for it to close near the Amite river?

I will also be driving back from Amite to baton Rouge tomorrow morning. Will my regular route of i55 to i12 westbound work?

cant get thru to PFD Should I head that way with the boat?

Sure all they can say is that they don't need more help. Just talked to my buddy again. He said the water is knee on 22 by delatte's store. Connies restaurant on the south side of the road has waist deep water in it. State Police has 22 blocked at Brown rd now.

Water going down over here in Tuscany. It has gone down about 2" off my slab in the past 1-2hours. Hoping it speeds up before the rain hits

FYI appears water is spilling on to I12 at Robert. They've only got one lane open. Traffic is very bad all the way back to Madisonville. Not sure if 190 is affected as well.

My MIL decided to come to Hammond today. She's been stuck in traffic. I told her to turn around and go home before they completely shut down the interstate.

That's bad.Real bad... Are parts of I-20 still closed??/ If so you have two major traffic channels closed and that's not good for anybody. I am not talking local folks I am talking about the shipment of goods.... Mother Nature is amazing with the power to create havoc........

I'm in good shape. My ditches are completely dry as of noon today. I was going to help a buddy in Tallow Creek down the road but was told things are ok and not to worry with it. I'm about to head out on a beer run. My only discomfort today is that my wifi is not working for some reason. Junior and Mrs4 are napping.

I live on a hill. It would have to be Noah ark building biblical for my house to flood. Now some of my friends and family have or are about to be flooded.
