I would also suggest 911 first and they should send someone. Update when you can

Might want to do this offline. You don't want the internet knowing there's a vacant house waiting to be plundered.

Anyone have a flood map from 1983, if such a thing exists for EBR?

We were finally able to get through to the Fire Department and they are going to get her. Every possible entrance way to her road is barricaded and we were turned around....she's right next to the Tangipahoa River. I really appreciate the help and all the offers for help though

I'm currently on standby to rescue my FIL that loves off of Airport Road in Covington. He has a pond in his back yard and the water has risen 2' in the last 20 minutes. He fefuses to leave and says he will let me know if things continue to deteriorate there. I told him it was coming at 2PM and asked him to come to my house for the evening.

He has power at the moment. The house is elevated, about 3' above grade.

That's right on the other side of the Bogue Falaya from me. That seminary is a beautiful piece of property
