Is Baton Rouge done? I slept through it but we couldn't have gotten much.

Good question. Radar seems to be quiet.

I live in central Louisiana. We had significant flooding at our house as we live in a creek. Trees falling everywhere. On our only way out, our bridge collapsed sometime overnight. I hate this stranded feeling.

Daytime heating could spark some more rain, but the morning model runs I've seen suggest the epic flooding rain will likely be a little more to the east.

So off and on showers, maybe an 1" of rain is my speculation.

Anyone know if 165 is actually closed coming through Tullos? I have a truck trying to get to Alex and the DOT website is showing it is.

Excellent.... I wasn't aware of this route. If 49 is still closed I'll take that. I'm assuming 59 or 84 don't have any issues?

Dont think so, I have a truck going to Texarkana this morning and he took this route. If Shreveport doesnt get a ton of rain, 49 could be back open by tomorrow.

Im about to jump on I 49 south from Bossier, is there an alternate route to head south or are state policing directing traffic to that route?

I heard from someone who did it this morning that 171 south from Shreveport is open and you can take it to Stonewall. You can cut back over to I-49 from there.

Sister lives off Cornerview in Dutchtown. Water is about 2' deep and at her doorstep. Hope no more downpours today.

These weather anchors talking about that Desoto county woman who drove through the flood like she's some kind of hero or something. I'm guessing next she'll get an invite to the Ellen show.
