I'm nestled right between the upper scrotum and base of the shaft. We've been boned hard with at least 17 inches over the last 41 hours. I've never seen a pounding like this.

Yea its been pretty ugly here this morning also. Hard tstorms rolled in last night and we've probably gotten at least a couple of inches in the last few hours. It's only going to get worse.

Holy shitballs
I will go apeshit if we lose power. It's bad enough being trapped in here.

nah, it was down early this AM and they just wrapped it up. pretty damn quick with the response. My neighbor called and said our house was on fire, turns out its was just the tree.

I-49 closed in Caddo Parish due to high water.

eta:

I havent seen any flooding around town. Yesterday I went a few places and all was well. the creek behind my house is usually dry and it was about 12 feet wide, but nothing on the roads.

Jesus. Shreveport is being systematically cut off from society.

That is a hell of a rise in 48 hours...

Wish they had a forecast that went farther than that.

Sounds like Logansport is being evacuated in places - that's an all time record there. Wallace backwater just closed I-49 this morning and cross sounds like it's getting in houses and camps too. Going to be a mess for a while.
