The gulf is spewing guts from Tyler to Vicksburg. I've never seen that much rain. Nasty el Nino storm on steroids.

I just RA'd for sticky again. I'm getting hammered where I'm at but luckily I live on top of a hill.

It has been raining steady all night in shreveport. This is relentless. I fully expect to see swarms of frogs or locusts next

Looters are not usually strong swimmers.

State offices in 17 parishes are closed today.

Schools in Beauregard and Vernon Parish are closed today along with most of northern LA.

Have you heard any calls about flooding on 143? If I can get to 143 today, I think I can get on I-20 and go home! #getiluvhome

Yeh man, I woke up early to drive around Shreveport to see what roads are open and offer help. My brother lost his house in Swartz and my parents are about to in Monroe. This is crazy and only the beginning.

Looks like it's not any better today. Map still shows 167 north and south are closed.

Diesel,
If you can get to Tullos, take 84 over to I-55 then head down. It doesn't look like I-20 is an option.
