Moved from Louisiana to Colorado then took it a step further and moved into an RV. I went from hanging around bars to shredding the frick out of mountains

Moving to another city not knowing anyone there prior. I've done this twice for jobs. It's great when you're young. Once you're into your late 30s or older and still single, the experience is exciting at first, but it's just harder to make friends, meet quality people just being a lone wolf out there and can get pretty lonely.

Sounds like he needs to be. Especially since he's not going to have any kind of inheritance to fall back on later in life.

I gave up cocaine and alcohol yesterday.

It wasn't easy, but life has never been better.

I started getting into soccer about a year ago. I miss the company of women but it really is a beautiful game.

I am going thru the process now. My dad just had a triple bypass surgery and I plan on getting a stress test and EKG. If all is good, then great. If not, then will need to either go on meds, get a stent or worse have surgery for bypass. Have cut back on soda and added in eating more fresh fruit and veggies. Drinking more water too. Lastly going to start exercising every day at least an hour for cardio. Hope I can just stick with it.

I save 50% of gross income, and have for the last 7 years. We should be ok money wise. I am trying to finnagle a layoff but that might not happen.

I do something every few years. Just changed jobs a year ago and moved to another part of town. It's not a bad idea to reinvent yourself every few years or so.

I'm changing jobs. My current gig pays pretty well for my age and experience. However, it is an absolute shitstorm day to day (oil/gas service company) and it keeps me awake at night.

Taking a similar position in another industry that pays more and actually believes in working from your phone/computer instead of being in the office 40 hours a week.

It will be a game changer. I'll sleep better, which will give me the energy to work out more often, eat better, etc.

I'm trading bad stress for good stress and I cannot wait.

Move from Louisiana to Miami. Thinking back now I realize moving is not that big of a deal when you are single. I wished I did it more.

I've tried waking up early. Like at 5 instead of 7. Have a cup of coffee, watch the news, maybe do a little exercising. I just can't do it.

I started following soccer as well. It's seemingly a never ending season and makes for a great start to a Saturday
