All but 2 counties in Arkansas and all of Tennessee under a warning.
And freeze warnings down to just north of the Mexican border.

Good luck, bud. Up in north AL I'm just hoping for mostly snow and as little freezing rain as possible. It is looking like it could go either way at this point.

same here - my driveway is on a hill so it will ice, plus small hills in any direction out of he neighborhood - my concern is 280 from 459 south to my folks apartment - there is a decent hill between 459 and them - last time we got ice, it was a skating rink and untreated.

The current setup for this system is quite similar to the January 1988 setup that hammered a lot of the same areas currently under winter storm warnings and advisories. Main difference with the current setup is not quite as much northern stream influence this time around

That would be quite a dud for what has been forecasted so far.
Weather channel is still calling for up to 5 inches of snow for Atlanta.

Real Talk: If I were a broadcast meteorologist in the southeast I'd catch a bad case of the chronic drizzling shits the week leading up to a Winter weather event. I wouldn't want the smoke.

Mellish is the most accurate forecaster of my lifetime, I'm 43. When he says something is going to happen, it's usually Gospel

Was hopeful we were done in the Falls of Wichita but believe we will get popped again overnight as the system lifts out/away
