Long overdue. I don't think most people understand how big they were in their day.

God’s work. We need one for Otis Redding, Jim Croce also. John Denver doesn’t get one.

My youngest son's most prized possession is an original pressing, original cover, Street Survivors album.

Put a hole in the middle of the record and arrange it so that on the sunset of the equinox the sunlight sets on a picture of the passed band members.

Going to see them at the Wharf at the end of the month. Saw them a couple of years ago w/ ZZ Top. Great show.

Will people drive to the middle of a cow pasture for this?

I think so. Killing most of one of the best bands of all time is basically the only thing Mississippi has.

I'm probably a 3 mile swim and 4 mile walk to to ronnie vanzant park right meow. Awesome to see y'all do this. Y'all could probably drum up some extra funding by contacting one of the Jacksonville news stations. They love shite like this.

Good question...the private group has a "if you build it they will come" mindset..

Isn't the actual site of the plane crash on private property?
So, any memorial would just be "close by" the actual site
