More importantly, calling them "hoverboards" should be banned too.

Wimps. Kids need to touch hot stoves to learn.

How many orthopedic surgeons do you think are secret investors in those things?

So LSU is now full of faggy students who ride on hover boards from class to class. Too poor for segways? Sad for my university.

So are they banning students from riding them or just keeping them on campus? I think it's storage that is the big problem

What about those real hover boards that actually lift off the ground?

Looks like it's just storage. So any off-campus student could bring them and ride around like a lazy jackass to and from class no problem.

A friend of mine works in the ER and she said since Christmas, there has been plenty of folks in the ER due to those things. Lots of broken bones and stitches

Just banning them from being brought inside LSU buildings due to them being fire hazards.

Skate boards are banned right? I would think a hover board would fall under the skate board category.

I hope they don't ban unicycles. The hipsters may protest.
