Ah the old "I'm a student at LSU but don't like mardi gras" angle. Never seen this one before Fresh. Ironic. Edgy. 10/10, Reveille.

Not really much of a difference

Word.

Especially if she's not hot.

She's an ADPi, they don't count as an actual sorority, more like a weird girls club.

Y'all need to troll the hell out of her in the Reveille comments section. I don't have FB or I would be all over it.

The economic impact on New Orleans was valued at $145.7 million in 2009. This cost includes paying overtime for police, sanitation and other city officials to keep the festivities running as smoothly, safely and cleanly as possible.

That's not what "economic impact" means

Save yourself the cliché this year and abstain from the dirty and overpriced New Orleans

This piece is a cliche' -- another moron who is clueless takes 3 hours to write a bash piece on Mardi Gras. Wow, never been done before!

Who gave permission to this dummy to write this piece?

That's a common theme with Reveille opinion writers. They're all retarded and all think their word is worth something.

She’s 20 and from Atlanta, I’m willing to bet she has never left the quarter for Mardi Gras

Man I still get a twinge of excitement thinking back to those times back in undergrad and a little afterwards heading into town on Thursday, staying with Nola bros (or whoever) those several days, bouncing around hitting all the cool spots mixing it up, sloppy good times gabbing about who knows what and laughing our asses off, some hookups here and there (which half the time was a comedy in itself).

Sucks to be like that chick and be too busy bitching while life and good times pass you by.

So she went when she was 19. A 19-year-old cannot possibly relate to Mardi Gras and she likely didn't go with a local. She likely saw one parade and then did Bourbon and the trendy tourist stuff like Cat's and had no idea all of the good times people were having off of the beaten path and/or elsewhere such as The Maple Leaf, St. Joe's, The Balcony, Lucy's, etc. etc. etc. She was only 19, so if anyone ID's, however, she could not go to those places anyway.

And MOBILE??? LOL. Why not just say Shreveport?

The Reveille should be ashamed that they allowed someone such as ole Gooberty to write something so stale. The last line of this article is about as clever as Coco the Gorilla.
