Reveille equivalent of click bait.

How original - a negative hot take on Mardi Gras?!

Sarah Grobety is a 20-year-old mass communication junior from Atlanta, Georgia.

So she went once with her boyfriend when she was 18. Probably got too drunk, maybe cheated on him or just got into a dumb drunken argument. He left her dumb drunk arse on bourbon street after Endymion so she called a taxi, but couldn’t get through the crowd so she sat down on the curb, but didn’t see the guy who just puked on her shoes. She finally got back to her hotel in Kenner around 3 AM, woke her boyfriend up and fought more before the most awkward drive back on Monday, got back home and swore off New Orleans for good.

AKA I can’t handle New Orleans especially on Mardi Gras so I’m gonna act like a hipster and trash it.

But their faculty advisor, their journalist professors/instructors, and their student colleagues all told them to "make a difference....challenge the status quo....stand up....speak truth to power..."

If it wouldn't have real world effects on real world people, I'd love to sit back and laugh.

Let's get a 20 year old female student from Atlanta, who can't even legally drink herself, to bash New Orleans Mardi Gras

Oh look, someone who pays money for people to like her at LSU hates seeing people out having a good time because they can.

already made her Twitter profile private

I have no clue how she thought this would end well. This would be the equivalent of a 20 year old from down here writing an opinion piece trashing Boston St. Paddy Days parades in the UMASS student paper

A 20-year old college student who can't enjoy and have a good time for New Orleans Mardi Gras? The cherry on top is to suggest Mobile, Alabama's Mardi Gras as a more enticing option.

Holy shite I've read it all.

That sums this dud up in a nutshell.
