Okay so create an incentivized pipeline for current medical professionals to move into the area?

Yes, because there are no other schools or programs to cut. Let's frick with the medical schools and one of the only areas we have consistent high paying jobs.

We need more rotation sites. Essentially we need more funding for rotation slots at places that can handle them.

I'm not arguing against efficiency. I think the state absolutely needs to be more efficient and our elected officials need to learn how to spread the money that's allocated to them.

I'm simply saying that perhaps instead of closing down educational facilities in a state that's bottom of the barrel; maybe we should focus on not electing representatives based on skin color and how much of a coonass accent they have. BR has a mayor that's greasing palms of every slimy individual she's connected with.

Instead of taking away educational facilities, that could possibly get us on par with the rest of the country, maybe we shouldn't elect shite heads.

We say it all the time on the OT when discussing a Toyota, Nissan, Amazon, etc facility being built that "boy it'd sure be nice if Louisiana had a shot at this but we don't because our education system sucks", only to turn around and say "Aw hell, that piece of shite we elected is spending too much money; better shut a school down."

Perhaps we should be less reliant on the oil field and actually diversify our economy. That way, whenever Houston goes down a bit and is done pimping our coastline for a while, our entire state doesn't go broke because it's the only jobs we have here. Our entire economy revolves around petrochem and logging. We are West Virginia, only offshore rigs are our coal mines.
