Right. I'm getting downvoted, but he's not requiring vaccinations and LSU is operating at 100% capacity.

Calm down.
He's not making students vaccinate and he's not restricting classroom capacity. That's light years ahead of what other schools are doing.

What kind off salary does a newly created vice president for strategy position bring?

LSUs new VP of Strategy is the TIME dead Iraqi girl hugger? That's one of the most recognized images of that war. Officers get a lot of hate for unfairness in award distribution, but they typically don't just hand out Silver Stars with a V device to anyone. If nothing else maybe he will improve LSUs outreach to vets.

$260,000. I don't know what the going rate is, but that seems pretty high for most positions not at the top of the food chain (or coaching) at a university.

I read the one guy quoted in this article that while mentioning bringing in new people was normal questioned growing the administration and “strategy” title, but have there been other reports suggesting the faculty is livid over what this guy has done so far?

You’ve been quiet on the more sports board about the recent Cubs trade deadline moves.
What gives?

I wonder what they teach at the School of Advanced Military Studies?
My guess would be a few courses in Advanced Military Studies.

Fewer than 1 in 3 students are vaccinated
Didn’t LSU start forcing testing in freshman dorms last year because many students were positive and not wanting to report it as that would cause friends to get quarantined?
Our neighbor’s said their freshman and others at another SEC school were doing the same. They didn’t feel worse than a cold if that bad and mainly had the lose of smell or taste, and no one wanted to be the cause of putting friends in quarantine for 14 days last fall semester.
How many of that 2/3s not getting vaccinated at LSU have natural antibodies?
It’s strange when herd immunity used to be about those infected but now previously infected are completely ignored with only vaccinated numbers counting.
With all the talk about delta spreading and mostly hospitalizing unvaccinated the CDC or whoever would be dropping info about any of these unvaccinated positives that were reinfections (maybe not reinfections who got vaccinated after initial infection).
Are all previously infected vaccinated, living in protective bubbles, or not getting infected by delta?

The School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) is one of four United States Army schools that make up the United States Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. This "enormously rigorous"[2] graduate school comprises three programs: the larger Advanced Military Studies Program (AMSP); the Advanced Strategic Leadership Studies Program (ASLSP), a Joint Military Professional Education II (JPME II) certified senior service college program for senior field-grade officers, and the Advanced Strategic Planning and Policy Program (ASP3), which supports officers in obtaining doctorates from civilian schools.
They only enroll a dozen or so officers a year. Sounds like this guy was being groomed for flag rank. I wonder what happened

Do what did he do to earn that Silver Star?
