LSU postpones sorority rush

LSU has postponed sorority rush for the fall. This is gone too far. Being a father of a high school senior they have suffered enough! No senior parties, no graduation, no frat or sorority rush and likely a semester of online classes. Enough is enough. This has killed the economy and set a terrible precedent for the future.

It really is bullshite. Whether you give a shite about social organizations on campus or not... This has really gone to far. The numbers don't support a continued shut down.

One of my favorite pastimes back at LSU was walking on Dalrymple right before the start of school and seeing all the 17, 18, and 19 year old girls crying because they got rejected didn't get into the sorority they wanted to get in.

Lots of schools hate the Greeks anyway, so this is just a case of “never let a crisis go to waste.”
They normally train this on the fraternities but fricking over the sororities will help frick over fraternities too.

Greek life is a HUGE litigation liability for colleges today. If states want their public universities to maintain Greek life, the universities need some sort of indemnity from lawsuits
it isn't just wrongful death.
Universities are getting sued for all sort of things related to Greek Life.

I couldn't agree more. Young people have nearly zero chance of dying from COVID and they have suffered enough. We need to start holding people accountable for all of this ridiculousness.
