That’s what the Houston Texans do around NRG. You ain’t getting close without a ticket or tailgate ticket
Yep, but not the same because they have a big arse parking lot that isn't used except for events at NRG. There are a few that tailgate at the random lots nearby that sell game day parking, but tailgaiting isn't spread out like it is on campus. And you can't put a giant fence around the whole campus. Even on game days you have people coming and going that aren't there for the game and have legit on campus business.

Thank you for that

Not wanting your family to get shot at a football game is racist.

Things have changed significantly and a step function this year. Demographics and “style of apparel “… has changed. I have altered my traditional paths from tailgating to the stadium this year due to not wanting to inhale massive amounts of second hand weed….. Walk through porn show tryouts .. and be in unsafe bystander safety issues..
I moved out of town and only attends 1-2 games a year. None so far this year. This is so disheartening to read. I was very proud when I brought my new girlfriend and her daughter to their first LSU game last year. It’s a such a sacred and unique experience and was such a meaningful part of my younger life. I couldn’t wait to share it with them and tell them 100 stories from my past.
To hear that it’s gone ghetto like damn near everything else in Baton Rouge depresses me. Just like we can no longer take our young people to the State Fair anymore, now LSU Tailgating has fallen also. Really disappointing. There will eventually be a shooting or 2 and then good, decent, LSU loving fans will have to stop going and it’ll be lost forever.
I’ll keep the rest of my thoughts and comments to myself.

Why do you think good black people have to do something about a subculture we don't associate with? Just because you categorize black culture singularly doesn't mean it is. Stop lumping us in with all the other bullshite.
Because when white people try to do something about it they’re labeled as racists and oppressors. Until decent blacks take action to stop the bullshite the problem is only gonna get worse.

I blame LSU for all the problems around campus, extending out to Tigerland.
LSU has immense power in Louisiana and especially Baton Rouge. That influence could have been used a long time ago to clean up the areas around campus, force the city to not allow apartment complexes to spring up every where.
Not only does LSU not speak up and take action against the degradation around campus and Baton Rouge in general, the school administration appears to approve and encourage it.

the difference is generally that white trash culture is predominantly rural and black trash culture is predominantly urban.
And most white people don’t vote for people and policies that encourage white trash behavior.
The same cannot be said for black voters. The amount that claim to be against it never show up at the ballot box,

Black leaders need to tell these yns to get an education and a job or got to prison.

You can thank the DEI crowd voters who have ruined LSU. The administration is so woke it’s sickening!! In 10 years if this isn’t stopped season ticket holders and fans will not be there. Of course the leaders of the city will not do anything.

The administration and the athletic department don’t care. If they did, they would release a statement today. These shooting incidents will get swept under the rug.

As of last night we are done until its cleaned up.
As a retired police officer the lack of being proactive makes me ill.
We are done for now.

I’d like to know how many police officers are on campus. Because all they do is stand around or sit in their vehicles. They don’t enforce a damn thing.
LSUPD is responsible for all law enforcement on LSU’s campus during Gameday. Everyone else you see is there for parking and contraflow.

It is a very basic premise and it has been the case for quite a while: The YN's are moochers, they want to go where they can do all their bullshite for free.
This is very accurate. Free is the key word. If it’s open and free, it will turn to shite.

It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when some innocent family or bystanders get caught up in direct fire or in a crossfire.
If LSU is concerned about anything, it should be this, because you’re right. It’s pure luck that innocent people haven’t been killed in this shite yet. And it’s clearly not stopping, so now it’s on LSU to figure out how they’re going to end this shite. Those doing the shooting certainly don’t provide anything of value to LSU, but they can very, very quickly run off the people who do financially support the university.
The second an innocent fan gets gunned down on LSU’s campus, the university will get its arse handed to it by donors and Landry.
