Does anyone know if the LSU lab preschool feeds into the University Lab School kindergarten?
Anyone have any experience with the lab preschool? Trying to decide if we should enroll...

unless you or your spouse work at LSU or have serious alumni connections, you're not getting in

Yes, they called us and offered a spot. We have been on the waiting list since before our kid was born

Guess I should have said that they "called us back after sending an application and waiting for like 3 years."

if you can get in, i hear it's a great private school with low tuition.

It does not feed directly to the Lab School.

Thats what I thought.
I recall a few years back when my kids were babies, the daycare pre-school was much easier to get into than the actual K-12.

There is no feeder to the Lab School. Although the LSU Preschool does help kids get prepared for the entry exam.

My oldest is high school and youngest is upper elementary, so some of my info might be outdated, but if you don’t do LSU Preschool look into ELC at First Methodist. They had a lot of kids accepted my youngest’s K year and it was a great program.
My oldest went to pre-k at St James and 4/5 kids who applied to lab got in.
I think Trinity still has a pretty high acceptance rate.

Thank you very much for the info! Do you know if the LSU preschool has similar high acceptance rates into the lab school?
