LSU is bigger than one man. I’m not abandoning my alma mater.

Generations of my family and my wife’s family are LSU alums. My youngest graduates next year. I don’t love the Tate hire one bit, but the hire does not lessen my love for LSU nor my intention to support it financially. I am willing to give the guy a chance.
You people who have to apply political litmus tests to everything in your life must be miserable. Sadly you are all too common in 2021, on both sides of the aisle. Constant outrage is exhausting.

LSU has been going down the wrong path for a few years now, they just accelerated that process with a quota hire with more "extreme" ideas/outlook in reference to academia.
