I’ll be sending $0. When I got my last fee bill in grad school, it included a $5 charge for some LSU alumni fee. I called and they said it was a one time fee to enter and maintain my records in their system forever. I told them that was good to know because I paid $5 as an undergrad and I should be covered. I got transferred to several people. I told the last guy that if I have to pay that $5, the university would never get another dime from me. He said that was fine with him. He got his $5 and I’ve kept my promise.

I donate every year by way of athletic tickets and Tradition fund now, since shortly after graduation.

As an undergrad, I donated in parking tickets.

I’m good.

“I am not in the giving vein today.” Richard III, act IV, scene 2. Something I learned at LSU when the College of Arts and Sciences still taught Shakespeare.

Spent enough dollars there during school. They haven’t done anything since to warrant contribution.

Ain’t giving a penny as long as they continue asking students to stand and say their pronouns in English class or read books on BLM and say how it has impacted them. As the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. LSU feels differently. They break shite by “trying to fix it.” Sick and tired of all the DEI crap. What was once a small “Free Speech Alley” of freaks has expanded drastically across campus. Oh and same University which threatened students who didn’t take the clot shot.

I will never give LSU a penny unless I get something in return, like sporting event tickets, etc.

No straight up donations, strictly business transactions.

That lazy river is about 15 years old and y’all are still harping on it

Also, pretty sure it was funded by student fees.
