Key word usually.

You can have a sort of bitter Amber and reduce sweetness.

But I agree they can definitely get too sweet.

There are several session PA/IPAs that land in that happy spot of quality and light enough to pound.

I don't usually drink like a college student who drinks so much that he doesn't know if he'll ever get the chance to do another keg stand, so I can drink a sixer of Abita Amber and be just fine. Can they get too sweet, sure. I'd be okay with a dunkel, too. Those are really good.

But, I guess, the point was to gear it towards fall.

PS: I'm not a know it all about beer, just a guy who likes beer. There are people who probably know a lot better than I do on the subject.

I agree with you. But that's not relevant to what you said.

If they could somehow recreate Modern Times' Blazing World Hoppy Amber, I'd drink the shite out of that.

Commotion is easily crushable on a hot day.

Yeah. I can't stand their gameday IPA. Too citrusy.

Tin Roof already does an amber ale... and a session IPA... I doubt they recreate a style they already brew for this beer.

Although I do think Perfect Tin could use a facelift.

I've been in Texas a lot lately and have been spoiled by how crushable St Arnold's Art Car and Karbach Weekend Warrior are.

Yes... it's pretty good, if you like hefeweizens.

Curely Hallman Hefe
Homerun Hefe
Hall of Fame...you get it

That would be a solid style and offering, especially if they can get close to LO.

I'm surprised F. King Alexander approved this with his special attention to "optics". I'm sure they compromised with Tin Roof that they can make a pilsner called "Jungle KING". Named after Mike....of course.
