I know the concessions at the athletic events are cashless...but are all the fast food and other retail outlets cashless too?

I know Torchys and those places in that area take cash
The Campus bookstore also takes cash and they have a Starbucks where you can get food

Haven't been to the Union lately so not sure if those places in the food court take cash or not, I would think they do still take cash

No one carries cash anymore. Dealing with change is annoying, and requires some basic math skills that may be too difficult for many. Also makes it more difficult to steal cash from the register if you don't accept cash?

Conspiracist angle: Cheaper for the government to print money as we move closer to a cashless society.

All American money has the words "THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE."

An increasing number of places don't want to handle cash.

If money is just digital numbers on a screen, do we really own it?

Being cashless discriminates against people without bank accounts and is a symbol of white oppression.

What kind of nonsense is this?

They're stealing from you with card fees and nonsense tip requests.

Real reason, no cash theft from concessions etc… when going cashless.

You are a moron.

If you have Hulu, look for a show called Trafficked and in one of the 4 seasons there is an episode on counterfeit money.

While I like using cash, I complete understand why businesses go cashless.
