I don't get how Rouse thought it was a good business decision to attend the rally and be seen. I mean you'd have to guess a large proportion of his customer base doesn't like Trump. Even if it's only 1/4 of your customer base that can mean the difference between profits and bankruptcy.
I think if you have so much at stake you need to think about your attendance at events. I mean sure a minister or Sunday school teacher can attend a strip club, but if you are seen going in and out you have to expect the congregation will want to explore their relationship with you. You have that right as an adult to go to strip clubs but the people you depend on for economic survival may not like it.

Thank JBE for appointing SJWs to the LSU B.O.S.
Look at what has happened at LSU.
Elections have consequences. We’ll be seeing that over and over again over the next couple of years.

LSJWU doing SJW things.
Missouri had a SJW event, Republicans in Jeff City put an end to it and other events in future, with threats of $$$ not going to University, all quiet. Stupidity Stopped.
LSJWU has taken that ball and keep taking it to new depths.

Churn out degrees and then create more Diversity jobs at colleges and universities, apply pressure at Corporate level to create more worthless jobs. Never ending cycle.

Pretty sure they're based out of BR and the only affiliation they have with Winn Dixie is that they took over some of the locations Winn Dixie closed down when they filed bankruptcy a few years back.

An LSU board of supervisors member asked Friday whether the university could explore severing its relationship with Rouses Supermarkets over co-owner Donald Rouse Sr.'s attendance at a protest at the U.S. Capitol last week that has since led to dozens of arrests related to violent break-ins
The bigger questions is why is Rouse's giving them another dollar after this?

Nobody was associating Rouse’s with LSU until LSU opened their mouth about re-evaluating the relationship.
SJW's were blowing up every public official connected to LSU. you just didn't see it.
One BoS member does not speak for the whole.
Hold judgement until the BoS votes to cut ties.

I wonder what kind of job that AA Studies degree gets you?
One that would probably make a min wage hike to $15/hr look very, very good.

It would earn them a job teaching AAS at a university or working in a diversity office. It's silly but this is actually a growing professional field in both public and private sectors.

I will turn in my Club tickets, lower bowl tickets, basketball, and baseball tickets. The Foundation, AA, and TAF will never get a dime from me again.

yeah good luck getting LSU to turn away from money during this time because Collis got his feelings hurt.
This is happening all over the place. All it takes is for one black to be pissed off an you're done.

Look folks, the LSU Board of Supervisors is a major part of the problem. They are complicit in the recent moves by the LSU administration toward woke delusion and in promoting racial discrimination at the university.
This, and let's not mention rubber-stamping BS contracts for assistant football coaches. They dumb.

I disagree. I don't think this is so much a race thing as it is a "progressive" thing. There are conservatives of all races that see through all of this crazy outrage culture crap. There are a lot of black folks, white folks, etc that think stuff like this is absurd. It's not really fair, imo at-least, to label this as being a problem of one race of people. Half, or more, of these progressives are white. There are amazing black citizens, just as there are amazing white citizens, hispanic, asian, etc, just as there are radical citizens of every ethnicity. It's the progressive outrage culture that is to blame for (and at the root of) all of this outrage at the whole rouse's situation.
Don't attack me, ( I think the Rouse's situation is ridiculous), I just think it's unfair to blame this on a particular demographic of people based on ethnicity. Except for maybe white progressives/socialist. Just my two cents.

It’s a no-win situation for Rouse. It is certainly anybody’s right to protest. I support that right. Unfortunately, the intolerant don’t support that right unless it fits their agenda. Anybody at the capitol should have known that they were going to be cancelled.
It’s a kamikaze mission of sorts.
