this may be sacrilegious but i had these in florida a few weeks back and they were delicious!

maybe consider the 'bites' as opposed to full-on beignets as an option if you do look at doing beignets at some point.

they had 2 or 3 varieties and dipping sauce and you couldn't put them down and i'm not particularly fond of full sized beignets because they always feels like a commitment. you can pop a bite-sized one in your mouth and not end up looking like you just did a line of coke.

GOOD LUCK! will be following this story with great interest.

Will there be an LSU alum/TD poster discount available for qualifying visitors?

This is BS. People in England are not that friendly. They’re distinctly unfriendly. Not a one of them would come up to you and just start chatting. Especially if they know you are an American. And if you were dressed head to toe in Everton gear, and trust me on this, they were making fun of you. They probably thought you were the dork from Eurotrip. They don’t like us over there.

What was his reasoning for that?

Doesn’t want the mess.

We’re trying to keep our menu and offerings limited for awhile, then slowly add/scale.

On the beignets, we’re using dough and powdered sugar, which would be the only menu items with those ingredients.

Smaller kitchen:
Two freezers
Large fridge
Smoker
Flat top
Two ovens/one stove

While I am a true Blue, we decided for our company sake that the operations manager (my biz partner who moved over here) should become a Red.

The massive parade went down the street we live on, and there were like 1.8 mil ppl there to see one float that rode by without throwing anything. True madness.

Those dudes are still talking about Louisiana and the food like 2 weeks after being home. I wouldn’t be shocked if they came. If you told them to come and just offer a free meal and no posts necessary, they may come and do it anyways. Definitely worth a DM.

Damn. I can see why you want to try to limit the menu.

Is one of the refrigeration units a walk in?

I don’t know much about them. They started popping up on my Facebook page at some point. I wasn’t following them. I assumed they made money from social media per views and followers or however those Facebook people are paid.

Negative. Electricity/Refrigeration is strange in the UK.
Our flat doesn’t have an AC, nor a dryer.
The pub we’re in has kegs and a tap system, but not a walk in cooler either.

We CAN get food deliveries daily, except Sunday, so we can manage logistics…once we figure out how busy we’ll be. We’re going in blind, and I anticipate us running out of stuff.

They were very complimentary of the hospitality here and I've seen videos of them since leaving Louisiana talking about missing the food. It would be worth trying.

For sure...we've messaged them and put info on their posts.
We're not expecting much, though.
Other people in the same realm charge a good amount to post.
