The news said people should slow down to 50 along that stretch and swerve out of the way of any small stuff they see in the road.

ETA: She didn’t use those words but she did say to be on the lookout. I don’t know any other way to look out for nails.

One time while traveling out of state, there was a roofer who lost two or three buckets of nails on the interstate. The buckets fell out not at once, but over a mile or two. At each spill, cars were pulled off to the side. When I passed, the roofer pulled over to the side, and a line of people were forming to talk with him.

the shite our local news stations cover as "news" is laughable. Last week WBRZ had a live report from St. Francisville to report an alligator had been killed and decapitated. A live report for that shite. Holy frick, if that's all you've got to report, just cancel the news and put on a rerun of Frazier or something. Put the weather radar on your website and just leave that on.

Anybody that read WBRZ’s Riverside Towing article yesterday ... or tried to read it... will see that journalism in this city is dead. I cannot fathom how they let those fricking retards post that pile of grammatical garbage on their site.

A while back I was watching the news (Channel 2 I think) and they did a story about some lady that had a sinkhole in her yard. She went on and on about how she keeps calling the city but they wouldn't fix it... this story went on for 2 or 3 minutes and then at the very end they say that the sinkhole was caused by an old septic system installed by a previous owner.

I was like "what. in. the. frick."

can you get rid of "baw" and the truck nuts references as well? It was funny the first 49 million times it was used. Now, not so much.

I think BRZ has gone to all interns or journalism majors outside of the 4 talking heads. They misspelled several names on the news ticker the other night as well. Its like they don't even try. Just get shite off of FB and reword it incorrectly.

Had this happen near me, i missed getting my tires popped, but 12 cars were on the side of the road with at least 2 tires popped. In the end, it got over 50 cars.

No one could figure out what it was, they used the street sweepers to clean that stretch.
