TBH, I'm real tempted to hop into a RAV-4.

And when it drops below $3/gal will you sell the RAV and “hop” back into whatever you’re driving now?

My question is why do you need a truck? 90% of the trucks I see on the road have never towed a trailer or hauled anything in the bed.

Well, energy prices are the reason for all of the other high prices you mentioned…

Grocery prices, yes. My insurance and utilities , no

Man, you don’t think energy prices affect utility bills? Your power bill has literally got a line item on it to tell you how much the energy costs are.

By the way, insurance and utilities are both regulated by your state government…the government quite literally tells them what rates to charge.

Don't...

You are not a man unless you drive at least a 3/4 ton

I still drive, on occasion, my 69 Chrysler 300 convertible which is a huge fuel guzzler and requires high dollar ethanol free, higher octane gas.

What percentage of women driving Navigators and Expeditions have six kids?

Are you hurting yet with 3.99/gal gas? Diesel 4.99.

TBH, I'm real tempted to hop into a RAV-4.

My Chevrolet Silverado High Country 3.0L diesel gets 31 MPG. NO, I am good...

I don't pay for gas. Every time it increases, makes me feel like I got a raise. Those that don't have to pay for gas know exactly what i mean!

Shut up frick stick. apparently you have a truck as a daily driver that you don’t use for “truck” things lol

No trailer hitch, nothing in the bed, just an oversized gas guzzling daily driver taking up wasted space on the highway.

I used to have a truck but only because I had BIG BOAT that I needed to tow. Boats gone and so is that ugly arse fricking truck. I also had a car for daily commuting and never drove that truck otherwise.

You people

And here's your answer:
A truck should always be 4x4 and enables a man to haul things needed around the man's home. If you own a home, then you already know the value of owning a truck. Hauling firewood, plants, bales of pine straw, furniture, occasional off road fun, camping are just a few benefits of owning a truck.

A car is for a woman.

If they are driving ford products that’s big red flag right there.

SUV’s serve a different purpose. Trucks another and daily driver is not one them.
