Love bugs *tap out* Web worms *tap in*

I haven't seen stinging caterpillars in years.

Wonder what happened to them.

Every year it seems we have an outbreak of some kind of different pest. This year it was ladybugs. Had them everywhere, they kept coming in the house. Never seen so many. They are always around, but this was ridiculous this year. Last year it was fleas. My dog is 11 and he plays in our backyard and goes outside on walks. Never had any flea issue at all. Last year, they got all over him. Had to have my lawn sprayed. This year, no issue again. Two years ago there were these very small feathery moth like critters that came out at night and they were annoying as hell. Most regular moths keep to the light, but these things would just ram into you. They would keep coming and fly into your face and head. It was awful. Year before that it was some kind of grub worm or something in the lawns and it was killing everyone's grass.

It's weird, it seems it's always a different critter every summer.

This time last year I had a pecan tree that looked like a Halloween decoration. The Fall webworms took it over like I've never seen outside of the woods.

It didn't slow the tree down. We got over 30 pounds of pecans off of it, the best year since 2016. The webworms haven't been nearly as bad this year, but they are there worse than normal.

It grows back based on my experience, lol

Web worms got ahold of one of my small trees. First time I have seen them on my property.

Yeah. Once they get in the house, even if you wanted to kill them you can’t because it’s bad luck.
