Hey man, sorry you're afraid of dogs. Stay in your lane and let the big boys worry about our dogs.

Please, stop with the logic and reasoning.

They hate pits and don't know shite about them, so you should too. Duh!

I'm sure that pic is Photoshopped.

That kid is clearly dead now.

Seriously though, precious pits.

They can be good dogs, they really can be. That said they possess so much strength that they can tear a person apart. I mean I've met nice tigers and jaguars before I was able to play with, but never would trust as a pet.
A pit bull has so much strength and so many have bad breeding.

Yes Chihuahuas can bite, but it can't rip your leg off.
I seen a pit bull run through a fence to get to someone. They are too strong.

Mine looks almost just like this. Probably about 90 pounds. Was hit by a car right before I found him. Been a long road to recovery, still has problems with his hips and legs but he's a badass. And a freak. And an a-hole. But I love him

you keep saying that. But you're wrong. I know what my pit is capable of, thus if I had a one year old they damn sure wouldn't be tooling around in his face. That dad should have known that.

My question for pit owners is this.....

So if you are aware of the breeds capabilities and tendencies, then why own one at all? Especially when small children are present

If your dogs would only kill you and your family when they trigger, that would be one thing, but as we all know and have seen they unfortunately kill innocent people and dogs.

I agree with all this. I love my pit, but most people should not be allowed to own them. Sorry saint, but i'm scared to say women should own them, unless it's a smaller pit. I can hold my pit back on his leash/chain if he really really wants something, but barely. People need to know what they have in a pit and be overly cautious with them. Need to be on them like a hawk 110% of the time. Now, most of the time that's probably not necessary cuz they really are sweet. But I am super cautious with mine just in case he wanted to shread something aprt.

I rescued this little booger about 3 months ago. Someone had cut her ears off and dumped her off on the side of the road about 200 yards from my house. She’s dangerous, can’t you tell?

Please stop with the hyperbole. No one has said every pit bull is going to attack a child.

This will be a story for the ages. Man tries killing dangerous animal with car and fails. Dunce nurses dangerous animal back to health. Once back to health and full killing strength, dangerous animal bites the face off of neighbor's child because he sneezed.

it is because of their attributes that make them such incredible animals. They are probably the most genetically impressive dog, besides your Dogo's and stuff like that. Liek I said, most people probably shouldn't have them. They are freakishly strong and you should only own one if you can confidently hold it back. I've seen a lady walking two at the same time for some reason, and they spotted a dog and took the lady on a ride.

It's a beautiful dog and you're a responsible owner and nothing will ever happen. Wish I could pet her
