the exact same list of most boring towns

Dat Gretna, bruh!
Posted on 3/22/22 at 5:04 pm to Major Dutch Schaefer
Gretna and Kenner are probably both under 50% white. The Hispanic population has really exploded in both cities but they don't really cause much violent crime. Gretna has a pretty high black population too but they don't cause much trouble either. One of the worst parts of New Orleans (Fischer projects) is literally next door but hoodrats know not to mess around with the Gretna PD.

You know the Fischer doesn’t exist anymore right???

Yeah but the area is still shite. They tore the bricks down and put newer townhomes but the same folks still live there.

I know its not a city but they’ve never been to Olla before.
Feels like I’m taking a step way back in time where everyone is nice and courteous and willing to help one another and treats everyone like family.
There is absolutely no reason to fear for your life in that town lol

The good neighborhoods in Lafayette are as safe as you're going to get in Louisiana, but there is some hoodrat ghetto shite that goes on in north Lafayette.
The hood rat ghetto shite going on on the north side of Lafayette is not even close to the hood rat ghetto shite that goes on in other towns mentioned.
Plus in Lafayette, the average neighborhood is much safer than the average neighborhood elsewhere. You don’t have to be rich to be in a safe neighborhood there. A strong middle class exists.

Northside Lafayette is wayyyyyyy less dangerous than north Baton Rouge and New Orleans East.

Did they not count the apartments on Hickory?

no way!!!!!!!!!!!!

West Monroe has to be included on that list. If we could jettison Southside it would be perfect.
Posted on 3/22/22 at 9:20 pm to yaboidarrell
You are comparing it to two of the most dangerous places in the country. There are some rough arse areas off if Simcoe and rhe Northside.
Posted on 3/22/22 at 9:21 pm to yaboidarrell
Exactly. Hell let’s even compare North side Lafayette to the hood areas of Monroe Alec Shreveport and LC. Guaran damn tee you it ain’t even close. The north side of Lafayette isn’t even bad. It’s just where majority of the black people choose to live. Just ordinary neighborhoods with very low violent crime rates compared to cities of its size in LA.
Posted on 3/22/22 at 9:24 pm to turnpiketiger
Those are much more appropriate comparisons. Shrev is worse, not sure about funroe, LC is not.
Posted on 3/22/22 at 9:25 pm to Demshoes
I think they are technically River Ridge.
Edit: just looked it’s actually Harahan. I think the Creeks are RR but those crappy ones on Hickory were the ones you are referring to.

You’re high if you think Monroe and LC are safer than Lafayette. We’re strictly talking rough patches here. It ain’t even close. You don’t know Louisiana.

Lived in Harahan
when I was about 40…then moved to River Ridge…can’t say one thing bad about either
