I really like Areas of Tennessee and Georgia. But I'm not a fan of really hilly areas. Thinking about north Texas, too

I feel really bad for people who can’t get out for whatever reason but want too. Have been in different parts of Florida for 19 years now and the more disgusting the place is to me.

lived in Palm Beach County for a number of years, I never really liked it there, mainly because of the people, I suppose it's a little different on the west coast or the panhandle

Honestly, its hard to articulate. I think I'm just so used to living on almost completely flat ground that when I get into super hilly areas, it makes me feel something close to claustrophobia. It doesn't make much sense. And I've spent weeks at a time in hilly areas, thinking I'd just get used to it, but I never do. I'm sure after a couple months, I'd probably adapt and it wouldn't be a big deal.

Nantucket

Nantucket is more dangerous than most people realize. I was there a few weeks ago and was nearly sexually assaulted by a rather robust intoxicated woman.

Anywhere really - you know it’s bad when Mississippi is a better place to live than Louisiana

What area?
I have family a little north of Pensacola and I’ve grown to like that area.

Great place to live. However, real estate is out of reach and salaries are not up to par with cost of living. Palm Beach County might be more affordable, or even West Broward County.

Texas - Dallas preferred, would also consider SA, Austin, or Houston
Unless one needs a job, I just can't see wanting to live in Texas. I have relatives in Houston and Austin and have been several times since the early 1990s and it's just unappealing.

One of my children ( the one most likely to have children) recently moved to N. Carolina. It's really beautiful and mild weather. We don't mind the cold during winter. Plus, it's moderate winters. We are beginning the process of moving there such as getting our house ready to sell. A new chapter in our lives is exciting. I will miss LSU sports but I can always visit.

Nope. Plenty of stuff to do, beaches, pro games, tons of places to eat and culturally all kinds of food, it's never freezing, the list goes on.

Where do you live? Let's compare.
