Tort Reform Bill Stalls in Senate Judiciary Committe

to add more content in OP,
HB 372 reforms several tort laws which will improve the automobile insurance market.
1) Reduces the jury trial threshold from $50,000 to $5,000
2) Repeals the direct action statute
3) Requires medical expense transparency when several insurance coverages apply
4) Extends prescription from one year to two years
5) Requires LDI to review auto experience for three years and pass savings to consumers

This has been debunked to the moon and back and the preservative Thimerosal hasn't been used since 2001. If he claims that they didn't grow up with kids with autism, wouldn't we see more cases then compared to now?

he's a good dude but he's not coming from an angle that we have any fricking shot of passing tort reform that takes monies out of lawyers pockets in this state.
