I can't imagine Little Rock ever letting that stretch of highway be built.

Except this is your future. Looks like Arkansas will either be home to a shite ton of Louisianans or y'all better develop gills (some Louisianans are clearly on their way)

It’s the same in Lafayette along the “future I-49 corridor” aka Evangeline Throughway

There's at least the road already there. In shreveport, it legit goes through a neighborhood. It's the shittiest one in the city too so the connection would improve the area.

I think Arkansas is probably focusing on getting I-69 developed from MS to LA. Louisiana will drag their feet on that one.

Louisiana (one of the poorest states in the US) needs to help Arkansas (also one of the poorest states in the US) pay for an interstate connector that will connect central Arkansas to North LA? Both of which are regions with very small populations.

Gotcha.

Louisiana needs to force Westwego to accept it.

Lousiana was one of only 7 states in the country to lose residents last year and lost 10,000 people. I need to find the numbers to see how many of those 10K moved to Arkansas.

But if we get rid of Arkansas we won't have gems like this:

If Louisiana spends money on that before fixing the traffic problem in and around Baton Rouge then I will run for Governor.

If you can’t honor a ban bet, how would you honor campaign promises?
