Small town delta ms where nobody black is going to cooperate with the white Sherriff. Black guy kills a white girl in horrific fashion. The dad refused to believe his baby girl was running with thugs. Racial line divided the community and impacted the initial year or so of this investigation.
Lived up there around that time. Sad shite. Everyone knew he did it but they got no cooperation from the community and fricked up what little crime scene evidence they could have salvaged.
