Have they recently been changed from 12 month renewal to 18 months?

I'm seeing stickers with late 2018 on them. And it's only Jan 2nd

Late 2018 sounds like they're 24 months.

You can get two year stickers except in the BR Metro because of our air and AIDS problems.

If your car is registered in any of the five parishes(Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Livingston, and West Baton Rouge) then you must get it inspected in any of those parishes.

This is such BS. I hate these stupid regs. Besides, all the air pollution is blown over by Houston. FACT.

Thankfully, Mississippi abolished these.

Best thing Mississippi has done lately was to do away with inspection stickers.

Has that changed in EBR Parish? My first state inspection here this summer was a mandatory 12 month sticker, required with the extra emissions inspection.

In Lafayette Parish, there was an optional 24 month sticker.
