Record snowfall in Lake Charles is 23”.

I’m not seeing that anywhere. People would lose their minds here. More than they would for Ice.

I experienced that multiple times in my old neighborhood. Yes, within our small area everything was underground but the miles and miles of line to get the power to us wasn’t and when trees/limbs fell on them we were out just like everyone else.

GFS is showing a whammy on Monday and a double whammy on Thursday. Take Thursday with a grain of salt but Monday is looking more and more likely.

Haha thank you! I made special trips to three stores yesterday to craft these Pinterest type cards. We NEVER do stuff like that but figured why not since I’m on maternity leave :)

Great advice! I’m going to top the car off with gas in case we need to run it for charging stuff. Lord please keep this power on

I was at the Under Amour Outlet mall this weekend and saw some nice warm joggers.

I was thinking why in the hell would I buy that. I live in South Louisiana. I rarely gets below 32 degrees.

Even on some cold mornings below 40, I rock some shorts and a jacket.

Ouch. Frozen rain followed by 72hrs of freezing temps?

Well. Next week should be fun.

Because you should at least 1 pair of warm pants and 1 jacket that isn’t camo. Every 10 years it looks like Red Dawn in S Louisiana.

Looks like we have a few ladies in here. Girls, remember to wear your thin shirts when it gets super cold outside.

That is the date of the model run. Just click the forward arrow to see future weather predictions from the model.

I guess I can go ahead and reschedule the trip to The Great Wolf Lodge from Saturday - Tuesday since I don't feel like white knuckle death trap driving home from Grapevine to P'ville?

I have golf pants, sweats, a pair of jeans and corduroys

The cords are the closest to winter pants

Damn that GFS has single temps deep into the Houston area Tuesday. Stays frozen from Monday-Friday.

You want no part of DFW over the next week. I’m currently in a 5 car deep line at the 3rd gas station this morning.
